Lily Guilder Design Exchanges and Returns Policy:
Thank you for your business.
We are a very small company that creates high quality limited pieces and like to be detailed with our work. Customers who purchased their pieces in 2004 still wear these pieces today! We offer custom order and made-to-order to eliminate overstock in an world that's already crowded with textiles. But if you are not happy with your purchase, we most certainly want to hear your concerns. Please contact us immediately with your problem.
Commissioned/ Custom Order/Bespoke pieces are made to your measurements and specifications. We strive to create custom pieces exactly to suit your wishes but please note that they may come out slightly different than you imagined. We are crafty humans not wizards or robots. Anything less than complete satisfaction with the finished product will result in a process review on a case- by – case basis. Generally, custom pieces can be returned for a Lily Guilder Design credit less the consultation fee and 50% deposit within one week of receiving the piece. Adjustments and alterations are considered legitimate within 2 weeks of your receiving your order and are sometimes subject to an hourly fee.
If you are unhappy with your made to order online purchase, we will accept an exchange for another garment or return for store credit valid for one year from issue. Sample sale items are final sale.
We only exchange unworn, unwashed, unaltered Lily Guilder Design pieces. Please note that Lily Guilder Design garments are made in limited edition production runs or are completely one of a kind. Some styles will not be available in certain sizes and colors.
If you’d like to exchange or return an item from your order, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving your item based on the tracking delivery date. Please send your email to email@example.com. The item must be returned to us in original, unworn, unwashed, unaltered condition within 14 days of your purchase. We will not process your return/ exchange if you do not meet the conditions or timeline.

- We do not accept returns/ exchanges for items purchased at a retail store, event, or festival.
- All purchases for online sample sale/ clearance items are final.
- Include a note (handwritten is fine) with your original order number, the reason for exchange/ return and if possible what you’d like to exchange the piece for. We want you to have a piece you will wear.
- Customers are responsible for paying for shipping costs for exchanges and returns.
- We are not responsible for items lost in transit.
